CLASS 1 & AZ
To obtain Authorized Instruction in Class 1 & AZ, a driver must hold a minimum Class 5 Full driver's licence, meet medical standards, be at least 18 years of age. Mandatory Entry-level training (MELT) course is mandatory for acquiring class 1 licence. The course includes 121.5 hours training which consists of Classroom theory, yard training, air brake, coupling & decoupling, backing, in cab training and on road lessons.
